Canterbury Village is the only over 55 residential community in New Hartford. There are five garden style buildings of rental units. Some are premium units featuring hardwood floors, upgraded kitchens with granite countertops and vaulted ceilings. Each unit has a full basement. Additionally, snow and rubbish removal and landscape maintenance are included so that each resident can be assured a safe and attractive home. Rents range from $1165 to $1550 depending on size and if there is an affordability component. All properties require an executed lease as well as a security deposit, along with one month’s rent and they are renewed annually. All tenants are required to have personal property rental insurance as well.
